Your pregnancy: 17 weeks


How your baby's growing:
Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.

How your life's changing:
Starting to feel a bit off balance? As your belly grows, your center of gravity changes, so you may begin to occasionally feel a little unsteady on your feet. Try to avoid situations with a high risk of falling. Wear low-heeled shoes to reduce your risk of taking a tumble; trauma to your abdomen could be dangerous for you and your baby. You'll also want to be sure to buckle up when you're in a car — keep the lap portion of the seat belt under your belly, drawn snugly across your hips, and also use the shoulder harness, which should fit snugly between your breasts.

You may also notice your eyes becoming drier. Using over-the-counter lubricating drops may help. If your contact lenses become uncomfortable, try wearing them for shorter stretches of time. If you still have discomfort, switch to glasses until after you give birth.

Much needed update!

WOW, it is has been way too long since I have blogged. Well, tomorrow I will be 16 weeks pregnant! YAY, almost half way there! I am feeling a lot better now! I am not nauseous anymore & not nearly as tired as I was. Thank goodness! But I have been sick for over a week with stinking sinus problems! I am so stuffed up & it sucks because I can not take much of anything to help it. I have been using the sinus rinse & it helps a little bit but not much relief, so hopefully it will get better soon!
Kylie keeps getting smarter & funnier every day! Some of the things that she says just amaze me. I wonder where she gets some of these things from. She is so excited about being a big sister. She changes her mind almost every day about weather she wants a baby brother or sister. She said if it is a boy, she wants to name him baby Broccoli Bigelow. Bahahaha!!! We will find out in about 2-3 weeks what the sex is. I can't wait!

Bigelow #2!

So here is the reason that we had to move up our wedding day..............
I am PREGNANT!!!!!! YAY!!!!! We are so super excited! As of today I am 10 weeks & 3 days.
I found & had my wedding dress altered like a week before I found out that I was pregnant. I was getting big so fast that I would not have been able to fit into my wedding dress. I barley fit into it in Feb! Ha Ha!
When I was pregnant with Kylie I never got sick or anything, I was just really tired for a few months, but this one is horrible! I am constantly nauseous, I can't eat anything, I am so tired all the time, & I look like I am already 6 months pregnant!!! Hopefully it will go away in a few weeks so I can actually enjoy my pregnancy!
Anyways, just thought it was time to share the news! Wish us luck & I will def. keep everyone posted on everything!

1 more day!

I know it has been a while since I have blogged, but I have just been so super busy! Anyways, so we are leaving tomorrow morning to go to the beach for our wedding on Friday! The time has flown by so fast! I can't believe that we are leaving tomorrow already! Kylie is so excited! Everyone we talk to she says "Wanna come to Mommy's wedding?" Ha Ha!
I am so busy today! Me, my mom, & Kylie are going to go & get our nails done, I have to get drinks & snacks for the trip tomorrow, I still need to find flip-flops & shorts (just in case it will be warm enough), I have to get a shovel & pail for Kylie, I have to pack for 3 people, & tonight I have to shop @ Kids Kloset from 7-10 p.m. tonight!!! Hopefully I will get it all done in this short time!
Anyways... I will post pictures as soon as we get home on Sunday! Everyone keep your fingers crossed that it won't rain!!!

Feb. 27, 2009!

So, in an earlier blog I said that our wedding would be April 3, 2009. Well, some things came up & we are having to move it up, so now the new date is Feb. 27th 2009! I will let everyone know why we are moving the date up soon, but as of now that is my little secret! ;)
I am sending out the wedding invitations tomorrow! I am so super excited! I will write a new blog in a few days to let everyone know what's up!!!
